Amee: I am currently listening to Becoming by Michelle Obama. Wornstaff owns this title in both print and audio formats. I enjoy listening to nonfiction titles. The author is the narrator and the book deals with Michelle’s life and perspective. So far, it is very interesting.
I also read a suspense thriller ARC this month. The fourth in a series by Glen Erik Hamilton titled
Mercy River is due to release on March 12, 2019. If you enjoy reading Lee Child, you may like to try Hamilton’s Van Shaw series.
Karen: The Book of Fires by Jane Borodale. The year is 1752, and 17-year-old Agnes Trussel arrives in London pregnant with an unwanted child. Lost and frightened, she lands work as an apprentice to a fireworks maker. As she learns the trade, she joins in his quest to make the most spectacular fireworks the world has ever seen.
Mary: Night of Miracles by Elizabeth Berg. A delightful novel of friendship, community, and the way small acts of kindness can change your life. This is a sequel to "The Story of Arthur Truluv" but can be read as a stand-alone.
Megan: Sophie Johnson, Unicorn Expert by Morag Hood. An adorable picture book about a little girl in love with unicorns. She loves them so much that she puts unicorn horns on all her toys. What she doesn’t realize is that there is a real unicorn in her room the whole time!
Susan: Consumer Reports 2018. Utne Reader & BBC Science Focus magazines, Mediterranean travel books.
Heather: Ohio, Off the Beaten Path and Ohio Road Trips. We love exploring all the fun things to do right here in Ohio!
